| 92) Jablonec n.N. - Anenské Square (park with statue of Josef II), after 1882 |
| Similarly as other Jablonec s public places Anenské Square, too, has changed its name a few times. A lot of people still remember it as Dukelské, yet during WWII it bore the name of H. Kirsch. Before that it was called Občanské (Civic), but the original name was Josefské in honor of Emperor Josef II, a statue of whom had decorated the local little park since 1882. |

| The Lutheran church was rebuilt into its current look by a builder, Arwed Thamerus, in 1892. The cathedral spire, restored in 1995, towers up to the height of sixty meters. |

The building featured four statues: a mailman and postilion at the sides, at the front next to the clock two goddesses - allegories of telephone and telegraph operations. |
| 96) Jablonec n.N. - town theater, after 1907 |
| In accordance with the original ideas Jablonec s theater should have been placed on Mírové Square but this intention had not succeeded with the public and that is why the location in Liberecká Street near the main post office was chosen. |

| 98) Jablonec n.N. - Mírové Square, after 1909 |

| At the time when the bus station was still Ovocný Trh (Fruit Market) its space was used as a winter ice rink during 1890 to 1903. Before that people went ice-skating in the places in front of today s Sokol Hall (which was not there yet at that time), then at the new swimming pool in Nová Ves. |

| 104) Jablonec n.N. - Podhorská Street, after 1912 |
| These splendid Art Nouveau houses were built in the middle part of Podhorská Street during 1908 to 1912. To the right of the electric line car you can see the frontage of Jablonec s famous hotel, Jablonecký Dvůr (Jablonec Court) (the building now damaged by an inappropriate postwar adaptation). |

| In 1900 also the second of Jablonec s tram lines was built - the line from Brandl through Liberecká Street to the post office and further through Komenského Street to Mírové Square where both of the lines crossed each other. The route then went on through Podhorská as far as the construction site of the Old Catholic church. |

| In 1904 the second line of Jablonec s tram was extended as far as Paseky. At the same time a freight transport line was set up from Brandl to Rýnovice and a short connection from the railroad station to the grammar school. In 1928 a railroad station - post office line was built. The total length of all Jablonec s electric lines was over 23 km then. |

| The foundation stone of the shooting range was laid on May 8, 1870, the building was opened a year later. In 1888 the building was enlarged - two spires were then added, which gave the shooting range its future characteristic appearance; it, however, lost of both of the spires during one of the later reconstructions. There was one of three reservoirs of potable water for Jablonec under the shooting range (the building on the left in the picture); it was part of the municipal water main built during 1900 to 1901. |

| 110) Jablonec n.N. - reservoir (view of the dam), no date |
![]() |
| Jablonec s reservoir is unique for its setting in the midst of a housing complex. Besides the overall picturesqueness it also holds another primacy; it is the largest inner urban lake east of Lake Geneva. A coffee house was put up on the peninsula at the side of Paseky in the middle of 1920s. At that time it was called Strand-kaffee; some time in 1950s the name Taiwan was used and the building has kept it. |
| 111) Jablonec n.N. - reservoir (view of the dam s top), no date |

| The dam is gravitational, built of quarry stone. It is not, however, the only thoroughfare which Jablonec acquired thanks to the reservoir. The reservoir is crosswise intersected with two ground objects which enable the connection between both of the banks. One - between the first and the second reservoirs - is a road from Mšeno to Paseky, the other - between the second and the third reservoirs - is used as a gravel partition (to hold the depositions). |

| The system of Jablonec s tram transportation was completed after WWII: in 1949 the construction of the line to Liberec was launched. On January 1, 1953, the route was opened; soon afterwards Jablonec s lines were shut down one by one and since 1965 only the route to Liberec has remained for Jablonec. |
