127) Francis I, the Emperor of Austria, is promoting the village of Jablonec to a market-town with the right to organize two annual fairs and a fair lasting one week.

128) Francis Josef I, the Emperor of Austria, is promoting, by a decree of March 28, 1866, the market-town of Jablonec nad Nisou to a town and is granting it the coat of arms.

 The document kept in the State District Archive in Jablonec nad Nisou, issued in Vienna, December 7, 1906. The front page of the purple velvet cover with a golden emperor s eagle imprinted on it and a gilded cord on which the issuer s seal is hung in a metal protective case.
